Preston Holiday Happenings
With family-friendly fun, festivals, and even a brand new vendor, things are heating up in the kitchen at Preston’s favourite foodie market and the folks at Good Axe are pretty excited.
For those lucky enough to experience it, earlier this month Preston Market held its first Night Market Festival! The evening of the 11th boasted hours of nonstop live entertainment, pop-up stalls, exclusive nibblies and free kid’s activities: needless to say, it was a bonafide hit.
Speaking of the littlies, school holidays are here yet again and I’m sure many parents are tired of hearing “I’m bored” and “I’m hungry” every two seconds. Never fear, Preston Market is here! From September 23rd to October 2nd, Preston Market will be hosting three separate days full of school-holiday fun. From facepainting, a mini animal farm and an exclusive kid’s concert, enjoy some family entertainment (and delicious food to boot) these coming weeks; Oh, and did we mention that all of these fantastic activities are completely free?
The facepainting in particular is even being done by Preston Market’s newest vendor, Azura’s Oasis! A professional Belly Dancer, Kid’s Entertainer and Artist triple threat, come wearing your sparkliest stardust and check out her brand new art/dance studio! Speaking of vendors, I’m here to ecstatically announce that my personal favourite vendor, Les Crepes Gourmandes, is officially back! Days bursting with creativity and lots of flavour are nigh friends…
In short, we highly recommend you check out the market in the coming weeks. With every type of cuisine under the sun, a brand new school holidays schedule and more vendors than ever, Preston Market’s sure to bring a massive smile (and full tummy) to the whole family!
